Welcome to the website for Cub Scout Pack 22. A Family Scouting pack in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Pack 22 is chartered by Salem Baptist Church, located at 4044 Plank Rd. Pack 22 was first chartered on October 1, 1976. Since that time, Pack 22 has helped teach hundreds of children about Scouting and what it means to be a good citizen. Over the years the various committee members and leaders have spent countless hours in training and planning in order to provide a quality program for the youth of our community.
The adult leaders welcome you and your help! We volunteer our time to make scouting work for our kids and yours. Usually, adults are reluctant to help out because they were never scouts and might be uneasy about getting into the unknown. There is no special knowledge required for adult leadership in scouting; previous Scout experience is helpful but not mandatory. What is necessary is a desire to affiliate with the number one scouting organization in the world and to provide the necessary volunteer support to make our pack work.
Our pack generally meets three to four times a month at either a Pack Meeting or Pack Outing. Pack meetings are held at Salem Baptist Church, while outings are at various places that encourage families to do things together in the name of Scouting.
Pack 22 belongs to the Mattaponi District of the National Capital Area Council.
